Handmade in small batches from a vegan-certified leather alternative, Pomme balances a supple handfeel with a plant-origin source. Our custom gold-plated hardware is set with our signature carbon-negative lab diamond, and every bag includes a blockchain-based digital passport for authentication and provenance.

Pomme means “apple” in French, a nod to the material and to our origins.

Main material: Leap, an innovative, next-gen material, crafted from the byproducts of 
small European apple juice and cider producers. Leap has a 91% USDA certified biobased content. It is backed with TencelTM and

Why: we chose Leap as much for its beauty as for its performance. It is an animal-free material, vegan-certified, that does not require harmful chemicals or complex tanning
processes to achieve leather-like performance, feel, and touch. 

Lining: 100% Recycled Polyester

Why: We selected this lining for its resilience: it is water-resistant, easy to care for, and designed to withstand daily use.

Hardware: 18K Gold Plated Stainless Steel

Why: We custom-made this hardware for its lasting strength and its warm, luminous finish. The gold plating enriches the surface with depth and radiance, giving each detail a refined glow, while the stainless steel core ensures durability and elegance that endure over time.

Why: we place a diamond in every piece to unite beauty and function. Grown from captured carbon, it carries a carbon-neutral origin and anchors the digital passport that secures authenticity and provenance through its unique engraving.

Production: The Pomme collection is handmade in Bogotá (Colombia) by skilled artisans in a small traditional leather workshop. 

Why: We chose this atelier for its long-standing expertise in fine leatherwork and its commitment to meticulous, small-batch production. This focus on artisanal expertise ensures that every piece carries the depth and integrity of true leather craftsmanship. Due to the artisanal process, slight variations in finish may occur, making each bag subtly unique.

Regular Cleaning
• Wipe with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth.
• Let it air dry fully before use.

Water Contact
• The bag is highly water resistant, not waterproof.
• Wipe spills immediately. Do not pour liquids directly on the surface.
• To improve water resistance, you may apply a silicone-free impregnation spray. Test first on a hidden area.

Dirt & Stain Removal
• Use a universal cleaner or mild soap, then wipe off immediately.
• Avoid hard scrubbing; gentle cleaning only.
• Do not machine wash. Do not iron.

Safe Cleaning Products Only
• Use mild soap or universal cleaners.
• Avoid detergents, ammonia, oils, polishes, varnishes, alcohol, acetone, and bleach.

Storing
• Store at room temperature.
• Wrap the bag in the provided furoshiki when not in use.
• For extended storage, add silica gel sachets to the box to limit moisture buildup.
• Use the provided shape cushion to help the bag keep its form, or stuff with parchment paper or clean textiles. Do not use newspaper.

Your bag comes with a unique digital passport, invisibly encrypted in a diamond. This passport confirms its authenticity, tells the story of its materials and craftsmanship, and records its journey from our atelier to you. If you decide to pass it on, ownership can be securely transferred, giving the next owner the same proof of authenticity and history - and ensuring your bag retains its value over time.

Shipping: We offer free worldwide shipping with tracking, and we prepay the customs fees. 

Returns: Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging.
